2026 FÍS Storyboard Storytelling Competition- Now Open for Submissions!

The FÍS Storyboard Storytelling Competition 2026 invites Irish primary school pupils to explore their creativity by creating an original storyboard that visually interprets a story, poem, concept or curriculum topic.
Entries can be completed by whole classes or small groups and should be presented across a maximum of three pages (18 frames), encouraging pupils to plan, sequence and communicate ideas through visual storytelling. Suggested themes include local history, everyday heroes, environmental topics and original pupil-created stories.
The competition supports the development of literacy, creativity and digital media skills, with entries due by 5pm on Friday 17th April 2026.
