On 27 January 2026, schools across Ireland and the world will mark Holocaust Memorial Day, commemorating the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and other genocides. The date marks the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1945, one of the most notorious Nazi death camps.
