The Department of Education and Youth has released new Guidance on Artificial Intelligence in Education for teaching and learning.

The purpose of this guidance is to support school leaders and teachers to develop an understanding and knowledge of relevant considerations regarding the use of AI in teaching and learning and school leadership.
The guidance acknowledges that when used responsibly, in a planned and informed way, AI has the potential to support teaching and learning. It also recognises that there are challenges and risks associated with its use.
