Oide Technology in Education is involved in a range of digital learning projects and initiatives. While much of the project activity focuses on the management of the Department of Education's portal for schools (Scoilnet) and its safer internet programme (Webwise), we also lead an array of practical and innovative digital learning projects, supporting participating schools and teachers, both in person and online. Oide Technology in Education is also a key player in innovative European projects on digital learning.
Webwise is the Irish Internet Safety Awareness Centre. It promotes the autonomous, effective, and safer use of the internet by young people through information and awareness programmes targeting parents, teachers, and children.
The Department of Education's official portal for teachers and schools. Managed by Oide Technology in Education it works with practising teachers to provide open education resources for teaching and learning.
An innovative film project for primary schools that explores film and animation as a medium of expression. The FÍS film project was established in 2000 and culminates each year in an Oscars-type ceremony at the Helix in Dublin.

The Digital Citizenship Champion (DCC) programme, in collaboration with Webwise is designed to equip primary teachers with essential knowledge, skills, and resources to effectively teach digital citizenship. It focuses on promoting safe, ethical, and responsible online behaviour, covering key areas such as digital literacy, online wellbeing and privacy.
The BRICS project, involving teachers and children from 14 primary schools in the Midlands region, aims to engage children from 3rd to 6th class in real-world integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning.
DALI4US (Data Literacy for Upper Primary Schools) aims to equip primary school teachers with the necessary confidence, knowledge, skills, and attitudes to teach data literacy effectively.
Repurposing Education through Blended Learning (REBEL) is an Erasmus+ project run across two EU countries that supports the adoption of digital technologies and innovative and open pedagogies in education and training.
