Dearbhla O’Sullivan, Scoil Mhuire Tullamore, describes how she uses augmented reality with Merge Cubes to bring subjects to life in the classroom.
A teacher describes how her school uses augmented reality with Merge Cubes and mobile devices including mobile phones and iPads. Science is the topic of choice in this example and Merge cubes are used in the classroom to explore the topic of the heart and lungs in greater detail. The pupils work in groups to explore and learn all about the different organs. Merge Cubes can be used from 1st – 6th class once the pupils are aware of the rules surrounding handling the cubes.
